Heart Cry International (HCI) Africa was established in August 2001 to extend the operations of HCI into the continent of Africa. The headquarters of HCI Africa is located in Nigeria.
Since 2001 HCI Africa has been reaching and discipling children all over Africa by training the trainers and organizing children rallies, crusades seminars children camp meetings etc. The ministry's focus is on discipleship of children. We believe the children can be saved and be discipled for Christ. They too can be trained up to exhibit Christ like character and do the work of ministry. Proverbs 22:6.
To God’s glory with HCI Africa’s base in Nigeria, we have been able to reach Ghana, Benin Republic, Togo, South Africa, Burkina Faso, Mali, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Cameroon, Rwanda,etc. In Nigeria, we have been able to reach many of the states including Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Kaduna, Plateau, Edo, Ebonyi, Abuja Taraba etc.

Heart Cry International has followed the pattern Jesus revealed in the unforgettable Sermon on the Mount in Luke 9:11-17. Here Jesus taught and discipled his closest followers and the 5,000+ who gathered to hear His Word. His compassion wouldn’t allow Him to ignore their hunger, and He fed each one until they were full. Discipleship and humanitarian efforts went hand-in-hand. This is our plan as well.

The Vision of HCI Africa:
Step One: Children's Ministry Training Seminars offered by HCI Africa Team members in Nigeria and other African Nations.
Step Two: The Children's Ministry Training Institute offers 10 courses with study guide to fully equip pastors, teachers and parents in discipling the next generation!
Step Three: Children's Teacher Fellowship
Step Four: Children's Discipleship Network - Bible Studies for children networked through HCI.
Step Five: Child Sponsorship in selected schools and children's homes approved by the HCI office in the USA.
Step Six: The HCI Africa Children's Store featuring teaching aids, curriculum, toys and books for children and those who teach them. (Coming in 2012/2013)
